Toy Shopping: Nov. 7th, 2015

Earlier this month I enjoyed a day spent running around the county photographing stuff I liked among some of my favorite places, and thought I'd share! I found a few things I share at a later date, but these shots are mainly from TRU, along with more from Slackers, V-Stock, and some other local retailers. Lots of Star Wars, but also lots of attractively priced vintage figures I perhaps should have picked up just on principle. That said, I've bought toys than I even have time to look at, some purchased years ago that I've never opened. What pictured below would YOU have not been able to resist   ...?

Giant action figures! As big as your kid!

Always admired the design of these Hasbro "Mashers" figures... a great idea for a kid's toy...

I have a few of these 11" Titan Hero series figures- they are big, dumb toys, but I can't help liking the Vision and Falcon...

I stopped buying the 3.75" Marvel figures... I have too many! Love this Beast though...

What a great looking Legends Series Guardians of the Galaxy box set...

I have a few older ToyBiz Marvel Legends, but the Abomination figure below was really cool!

I also have a couple Hasbro Marvel dollies like Cap & Daredevil... they sure look sweet, and a great price- it was 30% off that day...

A giant POP! Thanos... if he'd been a regular vinyl figure and not a bobble head, I' may have bought him...

I have a Hikari Batman I love, but these limited edition vinyls are not inexpensive...

I really should have bought the '89 Batman & Joker that day... the Batman Beyond dolly a few pics below too. two or three years ago, I'd have jumped on those...

I love the vintage comics case at this local retailer, where Aquaman, pictured above resides. There are dollar comics for miles! I saw the Mortal Combat figures pictured below there as well. I have some '90s Marvel figures in this style that I love...

I'm really into Lego minifigures right now, so I was fascinated by the case below...

I hit this great arcade/vintage toy store at the end of my trip, which had old pinball machines and video games for sale. The toys were overpriced, but the atmosphere was so beautifully nostalgic... it felt like stepping back in time...

MORE LATER- MAKE IT FUN!

  4. This should be a regular feature. I loved this post and the commentary that goes with it. I can't believe those figures with the cloth clothing were only 13 bucks. I am dying here in the tundra my brother. LOL. And that Spidey pinball machine would be SWEET.
