Mego Disney Store Avengers 4pk (2026)

I'm pretty sure I only heard about the Mego Disney Store Avengers 4pk just a week or so before it dropped, mine arriving just five days after I ordered it online without incident. Some collectors reported receiving badly damaged boxes, but mine arrived unscathed. I think Mego adjusted their inventory numbers with the online giant after grossly miscalculating the initial Fantastic Four set, which left many fans without, present company included. In fact, you could still order last year's Spider-Man/Arch Enemies 4pk when I purchased the Avengers set (and still can as of writing this, though the Avengers set is sold out now). I hope we'll get another chance at the Fantastic Four set! Check out my YouTube Short:

I love the packaging and special edition gold coin, and while I've heard a lot of complaints about changes collectors wanted/didn't want, I'm actually thrilled with this set. Finding vintage figures of these characters in good condition can be a pricey endeavor, and I'd remind any of those '70s kids, they wouldn't have cared about any of that back in the day. They very much channel the spirit and aesthetic of '70s Mego!

MEGO Spider-Man & Arch Enemies 4-pk (Disney Store Exclusive 2025)

I was bummed out missing the first round of this Mego Spider-Man and Arch Enemies 4-pk on the first drop but lucked out in the second round. While I think these figures will eventually show up individually at some point, and there are surely business advantages to Mego, I still resent having to chase down exclusives from various retailers. Similarly, I missed out on the recent Fantastic Four set, also a Disney Store Exclusive. Complaints aside, I love the inclusion of the gold coin, the box illustrations are authentic, and the figures- classic Mego!

Check out my YouTube Short:

I didn't have Green Goblin or Lizard back in the '70s, and Electro is new for Mego, but I had Spider-Man- quite possible my favorite Mego figure of all time. Spider-Man was on The Electric Company TV show and had a live action TV show of his own starring Nicholas Hammond in the '70s and was featured in three different ongoing monthly titles during the years Mego sold a Spider-man very much like this one. Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man was probably one of the first comics I pulled off the spinner rack back then. Spider-Man was everything when I was a kid, and he's still hot property. I'm mad for this set!

Below, Mego Spider-Man next to my 9" Hasbro Origins Spider-Man, one of my favorite action figures in the Super-DuperToyBox, and Electro next to my Mego World's Greatest Superheroes 50th Anniversary Flash...

This set may very well be the coolest thing I got my hand on all year, and I hope we see more Mego Marvel in 2026! I loved my 12" Mego Spider-Man and Hulk as a kid and would love to see at least a few larger-sized Marvel Mego!

Batmobile Launcher Playset

I couldn't resist the cheap thrill of this Batmobile Launcher Playset found at 5 Below!
Check out my YouTube Short:

As you could see in the video, the launcher works smoothly! I love the small details of the playset, including the bat signal spotlight on top. The Batmobile is all plastic, but I like the modern update based on the 1989 versions oval canopy and double fins.

I like how this playset foes with some of my Imaginext Batman toys: Super Friends Series 1 Batman, Batman Exo-Suit, and Bat-Tech Bat Signal.

Funko POP! Bride of Frankenstein

After enjoying the last Universal Monsters Funko POP! vinyls I got this Halloween, I had to go back for The Bride of Frankenstein, another from the "Deco" series with its special paint embellishments. I finally watched the 1935 movie, starring Boris Karloff and Elsa Lanchester, so it makes both this season and this vinyl special! Check out my YouTube short:

And finally, The Bride with her Groom, a glow-in-the-dark Walgreens version I got in 2020...

Funko POP Gill Man, Dracula, Dracula's Castle

I'm not a big POP! collector, but Universal Monsters interest me in any number of products. These Dracula and Creature from the Black Lagoon POP! vinyls are from the "Deco motif" that emulate sort of an animated look with their cartoony styling. They were on sale at BBTS, and I'm fond of their vivid color and graphic paint apps. Check out my YouTube Short:

It was the POP! Bitty Towns Dracula and Castle set that led me to the Dracula and Gill-Man POP! Vinyls above. Unable to find one in the wild, I went to BBTS- I love their selection, "Pile of Loot" service, and $4.00 shipping! The taller castle turret on the left seems slightly off kilter, but it's otherwise a fun little piece! I'm MAD for the Dracula Bitty POP! He's not exactly like the Deco full sized version with his more classic colors...

Mini Tubbz Ducks: Horror

I found all these Mini Tubbz Horror Ducks at 5 Below this past summer and knew they'd make a fun post here on the Super-DuperToyBox! Check out my YouTube short:

I'm delighted by the unique sculpts/designs among these cosplaying ducks!

Below, a size comparison between the Mini Tubbz and a couple glow-in-the-dark Halloween ducks I picked up at Target, which always has some fun seasonal things in the bins up front...

Lincoln International Count Dracula & Frankenstein

I actually preordered this Blood-A-Rama Shock Fest 2-pk edition of the Lincoln Monsters Count Dracula and Frankenstein from White Elephant Toys in 2024. and as of today, you can still pick one up on Plaistallions.com. This modern revival of the Lincoln International Monsters line was coproduced by White Elephant Toyz, Plaid Stallions, and Absolutely Retro, and I hope to see more characters in the future- this is a small group of people and I'm certain an immense amount of work. My preorder included a Monster Club Kit, with certificate and art print. Cheap color copies, but fun nonetheless- made me smile!

I love the box art, particularly the side based on
the original Lincoln International character illustrations

Each figure came with an assortment of hands in the shade of green matching its corresponding figure, but who couldn't love the glow-in-the-dark hands best? So great! Thes modern reinterpretations come with sturdy S-type bodies with great articulation, and the outfits are top shelf- outstanding execution and more deluxe than some modern Mego figures I've bought. I've been happy with the White Elephant Toyz figures I've bought, and was thoroughly impressed with these.

Check out my YouTube short on these two:

Below, Lincoln Dracula with my Mego Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee Dracula...

... and Lincoln Dracula with my Mego glow-in-the-dark Dracula ...

Below, Lincoln Frankenstein with my Mego Christopher Lee and Boris Karloff Frankenstein...

...and Lincoln Frankenstein with White Elephant Toys Teenage Bog Monster ...

I'd love to see a Lincoln International Wolfman, Mummy or Phantom in the future, but we'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, I'd take advantage while you can still get some of these- the quality in the figure and soft goods outfit are phenomenal! Recommended!
