Marvel Legends Ironheart & Ultron

I lucked out on a recent jaunt to Walmart, bumping into this Marvel Legends Ironheart and Ultron figures, likely the two most wanted from the new Ursa Major BAF Wave based on their absence from every retailer in the county. I paid $22.99 for these at retail, a pretty recent and substantial increase from the $19.99 we were paying for these before, but these two have an import-level quality that make it seem more worth it.

Hasbro has produced a female Iron Man figure in the past, a Pepper Potts Rescue Armor figure released as an SDCC Exclusive that goes for big bucks on eBay now. We also got an MCU Avengers Endgame Rescue that is fantastic, with double-jointed elbows, like this Ironheart figure. It's the pinless limbs that make this figure special, a feature we are seeing more frequently in the Marvel Legends line. The paint apps, articulation, and accessories are all here, including an extra Riri Williams head- I appreciate an unmasked head with these armored figures.

Below, Ironheart with my Marvel Legends Invincible Iron Man from the Black Panther Wave- I couldn't wait to get these two together. I loved this Iron Man from that wave, and how it goes so well with this Ironheart figure...

Below, Riri Williams with a handful of other Marvel Legends Ladies in my collection: Alison Blaire, Janet van Dyne, Gwen Stacy, and Kamala Khan...

There were more than one figure of interest from this Ursa Major Wave, but Ultron was at the top of the list. We'd had other Ultron figures in the Marvel Legends line, and Diamond Select produced a nice one a few years back, but this is the Classic Ultron Marvel Legends collectors wanted. The "Kirby Crackle" mouthpiece was thoughtful, and sets him apart from other Ultron figures. Pinless limbs, like Riri, extra hands, and a fantastic abdominal pivot make him a wonderful addition and THE Ultron figure to have.

Below, the new Marvel Legends Ultron with my 2013 Marvel Legends Iron Man 3 Series Ultron. I'm pretty sure the body for that figure was released by Hasbro in a previous Iron Man movie line for a Titanium Man. It made a decent Ultron at the time, but this comic book accurate update is a vast improvement. The extra Ultron head included with the recent Retro Series Vision fits on this new Ultron...

Below, Ultron with Jocasta, the bride he created for himself, utilizing
the brain patterns of Janet van Dyne (the Wasp) to animate her ...!

More Later- Make It FUN!
